5.3 Alarm Detection
HOA Keypad Display
Low Suction Pressure
Cause
Insufficient suction pressure is present.
This is only effective when Q5-11, Low
Suction Pressure Behavior Select is set to 1
(alarm).
HOA Keypad Display
Low Water in Tank
Cause
The water level in the tank is too low. This
is only effective when Q4-11, Low Level
Behavior is set to 1 (alarm).
HOA Keypad Display
Low WL/SP Drive Disabled
Cause
Drive is not allowed to run in MEMOBUS
multiplex when P9-51 is set to 1, the Water
Level or Suction Pressure is below the
Q4-06/Q5-06 setting, and the drive is
stopped or running as a lag drive.
HOA Keypad Display
LT-1
Cause
The cooling fan has reached 90% of its
expected performance life.
HOA Keypad Display
LT-2
Cause
The main circuit and control circuit
capacitors have reached 90% of their
expected performance lives.
HOA Keypad Display
LT-3
Cause
The DC bus soft charge relay has reached

Low Suction Pressure
• Check pressure switch contact for correct operation.
• Check control wiring to drive terminal strip from pressure switch contact.
• Check to make sure that suction pressure is present by means of a separate measuring device.
• Increase the system pressure.
• Set the Low Suction alarm characteristics in Q5-09, Q5-10, and Q5-18.
• Drive response to this condition is controlled by Q5-11, Low Suction Pressure Behavior Select.
Low Water in Tank
• Check pressure switch contact for correct operation.
• Check control wiring to drive terminal strip from pressure switch contact.
• Check to make sure that suction pressure is present by means of a separate measuring device.
• Raise the water level.
• Set the Low Water Level alarm characteristics in Q4-09 and Q4-10.
• Drive response to this condition is controlled by Q4-11, Low Level Behavior.
Low Water Level / Suction Pressure Disabled
Water Level or Suction Pressure is below the Q4-06/Q5-06 setting.
• Confirm that the Water Level or Suction Pressure source is installed and working properly.
• Wait for the Water Level or Suction Pressure to recover.
Cooling Fan Maintenance Time
The cooling fan has reached its expected maintenance period and may need to be replaced.
Note:
An alarm output (H2-oo = 10) will only be triggered if both (H2-oo = 2F and H2-oo =
10) are set.
Replace the cooling fan and set o4-03 to 0 to reset the Maintenance Monitor.
Capacitor Maintenance Time
The main circuit and control circuit capacitors are nearing the end of their expected performance life.
Note:
An alarm output (H2-oo = 10) will only be triggered if H2-oo = 2F.
Replace either the control board or the entire drive. For instructions on replacing the control board, contact
Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.
Soft Charge Bypass Relay Maintenance Time
The DC bus soft charge relay is nearing the end of its expected performance life.
Note:
An alarm output (H2-oo = 10) will only be triggered if H2-oo = 2F.
Replace either the control board or the entire drive. For instructions on replacing the control board, contact
Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.
