Although certain risks have al-
ready been eliminated during
the design and construction of
the rotary valve, some residual
risks still persist for which it is
necessary to provide decals and
instructions for the operators and
adopt certain measures for using
the machine.
MECHANICAL
HAZARDS
Stability
- The valve handling and lifting
operations must be carried
out by following the indications
given in the Manual (Chap.2
"TRANSPORT-WEIGHTS-LIFT-
ING Section).
Risks due to surfaces, sharp
edges and corners
- Specifically during the main-
tenance phases, it is neces-
sary to use personal protection
equipment (cut-proof gloves,
protective clothing, protective
footwear), to avoid injury due
to cutting or sharp surfaces
of certain components. (See
Manual Chap.2 "WARNINGS"
and "MAINTENANCE" Section).
Risks due to moving elements
- For correct installation of the
valve, all accesses to moving
parts must be closed: in this
regard, consult the Manual (RV
Manual, Chap.2 Sect. "WARN-
INGS" and "INSTALLATION",
RVS/C Manual, Chap.2 Sect. "IN-
STALLATION" and "GENERAL
PRECAUTIONS","OPERATION
AND MAINTENANCE").
- In rotary valves with chain trans-
mission, the chain-pinions unit
is protected by a guard which
must not be removed unless the
machine has been set in safety
condition.
- In the maintenance phases or
in case of operations where
movable parts have to be ac-
cessed, refer to the procedures
described in the Manual (Chap.2
"MAINTENANCE" Section).

Obwohl die Konstruktion der
Zellenradschleuse diverse Ri-
siken vemeidet, bleiben noch
einige Restrisiken bestehen, die
sich nicht mindern lassen und auf
die in Form von spezifischen Vor-
schriften zum Gebrauch des Ge-
räts hingewiesen werden muss.
GEFAHREN
MECHANISCHER ART
Stabilität:
- Für das Handling und das He-
ben der Zellenradschleuse sind
die Angaben im Handbuch
(Kap. 2 Teil „TRANSPORT
– GEWICHTE - HEBEN") zu
beachten.
Risiken durch Oberflächen,
Kanten und Ecken
- Insbesondere bei der Wartung
ist es erforderlich, persönliche
Schutzausrüstungen (Schnitt-
schutzhandschuhe, Schutz-
kleidung, Sicherheitsschuhe)
zu benutzen, um Verletzungen
durch Berühren scharfer oder
spitzer Oberflächen einiger
Komponenten zu vermeiden
(siehe Handbuch Kap.2 Teil
"HINWEISE" und "WARTUNG").
Risiken durch bewegliche Ele-
mente
- Der korrekte Einbau der Zel-
lenradschleuse sieht vor, dass
alle Zugänge zu beweglichen
Tei-len verschlossen sind: Dazu
ist Bezug auf das Handbuch zu
nehmen (Handbuch RV, Kap.2
Teil "HINWEISE" und "EINBAU",
Handbuch RVS/C, Kap. 2, Teil
"EINBAU" und "ALLGEMEINE
VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN",

- Bei Zellenradschleusen mit
Kettentrieb ist die Baugrup-
pe bestehend aus Kette und
Kettenrädern durch eine Ver-
kleidung geschützt, die nicht
entfernt werden darf, bevor das
Gerät abgesichert wurde.
- Bei der Wartung oder bei Ein-
griffen in bewegliche Teile auf
die im Handbuch beschriebene
Verfahrens-weise Bezug neh-
men (Kap.2 Teil "WARTUNG").
Bien que l'étude de projet et
la fabrication du distributeur
alvéolaire aient éliminé plusieurs
risques à l'origine, il existe des
risques résiduels non évaluables
qui exigent des signalisations et
des instructions pour les opéra-
teurs et des précautions parti-
culières lors de l'utilisation de la
machine.
DANGERS
DE NATURE MÉCANIQUE
Stabilité.
- La manutention et le soulève-
ment du distributeur doivent
être faits en respectant les
indications du manuel (Chap. 2
Section « TRANSPORT-POIDS-
LEVAGE).
Risques dus aux surfaces,
arêtes et angles
- Notamment dans les phases
de manutention, il faut utiliser
des équipements de protection
individuelle (gants anti-coupure,
vêtements de protection, chaus-
sures de sécurité), pour éviter
les blessures sur les surfaces
coupantes ou les arêtes vives
de certains composants. (Voir
Manuel Chap.2 Section « AVER-
TISSEMENTS » et « ENTRE-
TIEN »).
Risques dus aux éléments
mobiles.
- La mise en place correcte du
distributeur prévoit la fermeture
de tous les accès aux parties
mobiles : voir à ce propos le
manuel (Manuel RV, Chap.2
Sect."AVERTISSEMENTS" et
"MISE EN PLACE", Manuel
RVS/C, Chap.2 Sect."MISE EN
PLACE" et "PRECAUTIONS
GENERALES","UTILISATION
ET ENTRETIEN").
- Dans les distributeurs alvéo-
laires à transmission par chaîne,
le groupe chaîne-pignons est
protégé par un carter qui ne doit
pas être enlevé avant la mise en
sécurité de la machine.
- Dans les phases d'entretien ou
en cas d'interventions exigeant
l'accès à des parties mobiles,
faire référence aux procédures
décrites dans le manuel (Chap.2
Sect. « ENTRETIEN »).

Nonostante la progettazione e
la costruzione della rotovalvola
abbia eliminato all'origine alcuni
rischi ,rimangono presenti alcuni
rischi residui non riducibili e per i
quali occorrono segnalazioni ed
istruzioni per gli operatori e par-
ticolari accorgimenti nell'utilizzo
della macchina.
PERICOLI
DI NATURA MECCANICA
Stabilità.
- La movimentazione ed il solle-
vamento della valvola devono
essere eseguiti rispettando le
indicazioni del manuale (Cap.2
Sezione "TRASPORTO-PESI-
SOLLEVAMENTO).
Rischi dovuti a superfici, spi-
goli ed angoli
- Specialmente nele fasi di manu-
tenzione, è necessario utilizzare
mezzi di protezione individuale
(guanti antitaglio, indumenti pro-
tettivi, scarpe antinfortunistiche)
,per evitare lesioni dovuti ai su-
perfici taglienti o spigolose di al-
cuni componenti.(Vedi Manuale
Cap.2 Sezione "AVVERTENZE"
e "MANUTENZIONE").
Rischi dovuti agli elementi
mobili.
- La corretta installazione della
valvola prevede che tutti gli
accessi alle parti mobili siano
chiusi : a questo proposito fare
riferimento al manuale (Manuale
RV,Cap.2 Sez."AVVERTENZE"
e d " I N S TA L L A Z I O N E " ,

- Nelle rotovalvole con trasmissio-
ne a catena , il gruppo catena-
pignoni è protetto da un carter
che non deve essere rimosso
prima che la macchina sia stata
messa in sicurezza.
- Nelle fasi di manutenzione o in
caso di interventi che portino a
rendere accessibili le parti mobili
, fare riferimento alle procedure
descritte nel manuale (Cap.2
Sez. "MANUTENZIONE").
