10.2.1 Configuring EtherCAT

To configure the EtherCAT master, you need the ESI (EtherCAT Slave Information)
files in XML format:
WAGO_series765.xml and WAGO_series765_diag.xml
The file WAGO_series765.xml contains a reference to the file WAGO_se-
ries765_diag.xml, which contains diagnostic texts. Perform the following steps in the con-

figuration software of the EtherCAT master used:
• Import the XML files.
• Select the module from the device catalog.
• Set the parameters.

Select the module used from the device catalog.
