Summary Alarm Masking and Relay Setting
Figure 4.2 shows the alarm sources for a Satellite Receiver, however the
principle is the same for Decoders and Terrestrial Receivers. Illustrated are
the effects of the Relay and Mask options. Also shown are the sources that
cannot be masked. Relays can be assigned in any chosen order and more
than one Alarm can be assigned to a relay contact, creating an alarm
group. The choices made in Figure 4.2 are for illustration purposes only.
