When using the combination 64QAM, 3/4 FEC, 1/32 Guard Interval and 204 packet length (29.454545
Mbit/s), the demodulator may not always lock up correctly following switch-on or after a brief loss of
signal. This will be apparent from a higher than expected BER or lack of video. Normal lock up is
achieved by disconnecting and reconnecting the input again. Not applicable to version 2.3 and later.

The RELAY parameter allows an Alarm to be associated
RELAY MASK
with a particular relay contact at the rear of the unit. If a
NONE
YES
relay is selected and a failure occurs, that relay activates.
36/124
More than one Alarm can be assigned to a relay contact. For
RELAY MASK
example, INPUT, BER and SIG LEVEL could be assigned to
NONE
YES
Relay 1, VIDEO to Relay 2 and Audio 1 and 2 to Relay 3. Any
Alarm condition would then operate its assigned Relay.
