Select Standard SIP, to operate the IP Phone in the standard mode. As soon as you select this mode, the
booting process initiates again and the start up screen displays "Welcome Initializing...please wait". After
initialisation of the phone, the touch screen displays the following:

Time and date

Select Extended SIP, to operate the IP Phone in the extended mode. To know more, refer to the
EXTENDED SPARSH VP710 User Guide.
Tap Settings->Status to check the IP phone status, the touch screen displays the valid IP address, MAC

address, firmware version, etc.
If the IP phone has successfully passed through these steps, it starts up properly and is ready for use.
Phone Mode
Matrix SPARSH VP710 supports two phone modes, Standard SIP and Extended SIP. You can use the IP Phone
in either of the two modes as per your requirement. This section explains how to switch the phone mode from
Standard SIP to Extended SIP or vice versa.
To change the Phone Mode

Swipe down from the top of the touch screen of the IP Phone.

Tap Setting

In Advanced, enter the default password, admin.
