Capturing the Packets via Web User Interface
The IP phone supports exporting the packets file to the local system and analyze it. You can configure the
maximum size and the filter type of the packets
Procedure
Pcap feature can be configured using the configuration files or locally.
Configuration File
Local
To capture packets via web user interface:
•
Click on Settings->Configuration.
•
Enter the desired value in the Packet Capture Count field.
•
Enter the desired value in the Packet Capture Clip Bytes field.
•
Select the desired value from the Pcap Filter Type list.
If Custom is selected, enter the desired packet filter string in the Packet Filter String field.
•
Enter the desired value in the Packet Filter String field.
•
Click Start to start capturing signal traffic.
•
Reproduce the issue to get stack traces.
•
Click Stop to stop capturing.
