28.2 Bidirectional Pitch Error Compensation
28.2.1 Outline
Compensation amounts can be set respectively for the movement in positive and negative directions, and compensation can
be made for each direction. This method will reduce the difference between the path in the positive direction and path in the
negative direction.
You can set the compensation amount for each division point obtained by equally dividing the machine coordinates based on
the reference position. (See the figure below.)
The compensation amount can be set by either the absolute or incremental amount method. Select the method with "#4000
Pinc".
Machine position between division points "n" and "n+1" is smoothly compensated by the linear approximation of the
compensation amount.
