Pressure Regulators

The pressure regulators allow the manual adjustment of the carrier gas (helium or argon) and oxygen
inlet pressures. The regulators are located in the detector compartment and they are schematically
shown in
Figure 33. Pressure Regulators
The pressure regulators are common in all the configurations of the EA IsoLink IRMS System for
CNSOH. The regulators consist of the following components. See

Analytical Principles
Pneumatic Circuit
NCS Configuration uses the right
channel.
Note: The reference flow enters the
pyrolysis reactor from the bottom
before it ends as purge in the
Autosampler NCS.
OH Configuration uses the
left channel.
Note: The carrier gas flow is not
shown here. It enters the pyrolysis
reactor from the bottom.
The reference flow enters the system
at the combustion reactor and ends
as purge for the Autosampler H/O.
