Defining high pre-alarm and main alarm
If two upper limits are set with one limit hig-
her than the other (fig. 5-3), a pre-alarm is
triggered when the measured concentration
exceeds the first limit (area B). If no corrrecti-
ve measures are taken and the concentration
exceeds the second limit (area C), a main
alarm is triggered.
Up to two alarms may be active per channel
at any one time.
Standard mode:
An alarm results in the assigned relay being
activated.
Settings:
Level 1 > Level 2
Level 1-Function: High
Level 2-Function: High
Failsafe mode:
An alarm results in the assigned relay being
deactivated.
Settings:
Level 1 > Level 2
Level 1-Function: High FS
Level 2-Function: High FS
If an alarm is active, a corresponding mes-
sage is displayed in line 4 of the measurement
display.
