    INSTALLATION XWEB For installation, the XWEB system must not be open in any way. If the box is opened, the guarantee becomes void. Installation can take place in different ways depending on the model and the type of access to the user interf ace that you want to provide to the end user.

    CONTROLLERS XWEB has at least one RS485 serial port, on which the line of the controller devices can be c onnected. If there are more serials, more device lines can be served. Most Dixell controller devices are equipped with an RS485 serial output and can be connected wit hout t he need f or any additional module or connection cable.

    REMOTE CONNECTIVITY The user can access the web user interf ace f rom a PC or equivalent device properly connected and conf igured. The use of a PC or in any case a high resolution graphic terminal is recommended in the first configuration phase. The terminal used must comply with and support the minimum characteristics for the installation and us e of the f ollowing software.

    CROSSOVER CABLE INSTRUCTIONS Local access from the PC is the fastest way to manage the setup. It is possible to connect a PC to XWEB via the network interface supplied with the 'RJ45 Ethernet connector'. The connection between the two must be made via a crossed network cable (aka 'cross cable').

    EMERGENCY PROCEDURE This procedure is to restore XWEB parameters to factory default values; it is useful in cases where the IP address and / or the web service port and / or access credentials (username / password) have been lost and / or if generic errors occurs.
