Function Pump
The hydraulic pump is attached to the motor which
makes up the hydraulic power unit.
How to Remove the Hydraulic
Pump
Note: When removing a hose assembly or fitting,
the O-ring (if equipped) on the fitting and/or hose
end must be replaced. All connections must be
torqued to specification during installation. Refer to
Specifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting Torque
Specifications.
Models with electric drive

Disconnect the battery pack from the
machine.
Electrocution/burn hazard.
Contact with electrically charged
circuits could result in death or
serious injury. Remove all rings,
watches and other jewelry.

Refer to Repair Procedure, How to Remove
the Hydraulic Tank.

Disconnect the filter head from the filter head
mounting bracket. Rotate the filter out and
away from the hydraulic power unit.

Tag, disconnect and plug the hoses from the
power unit. Cap the fittings on the power unit.

Remove the hydraulic power unit mounting
bolts, then remove the hydraulic power unit
from the machine.

Tag and remove the hydraulic tank mounting
bolts and clamps, then remove the hydraulic
tank from the machine.

Disconnect the pump inlet line and remove
the pump mounting bolts. Cap the fittings on
the pump, manifolds and hydraulic tank.

Carefully remove the pump.

machine.

serious injury. Remove all rings,
watches and other jewelry.
Tag and disconnect the hydraulic power unit
cables at the motor controller.
Disconnect the filter head from the filter head
mounting bracket. Rotate the filter out and
away from the hydraulic power unit.
Remove the hydraulic power unit retaining
fasteners.
Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic tank
hard line from the pump. Cap the fitting on the
pump.
