Connecting the vsurge NX15 system to the ground reference

Do not replace the supplied power cord, rated for 10 A with another power cord of
insufficient size.
To replace a fuse:
1) Disconnect the mains cable
2) Pull the fuse holder out of the connector
3) Remove the damaged fuse(s)
4) Insert 1 or 2 fuses (4 A / 115V and 2 A / 230 V slow blow)
5) Replace the fuse holder
6) Plug the mains cable into a power outlet with a solid ground
connection
7) Switch the system on and operate as instructed in this manual
Connection to reference ground
For burst tests, the generator must be placed on a ground reference
plane which is connected to ground.
A low inductive high frequency ground connection between the test
system and the ground reference plane (GRP) is essential for performing
burst tests correctly.
