Setting guidelines
The setting parameters for fault current and voltage reporting function FLTMMXU can be set via
Protection and Control Manager PCM600.
Operation: This is used to disable/enable the operation of fault current and voltage reporting function,
that is, Off/On.
PreTrig: This setting is used to set the number of power system cycles to be considered for fault event
data window prior to positive edge of the binary input TRIGFLTUI.
PostTrig: This setting is used to set the number of power system cycles to be considered for fault event
data window after the positive edge of binary input TRIGFLTUI.

Setting example
Consider a line-to-ground fault in phase L2 of a 11.4 kV, 11.8 MVA, 60 Hz system. The voltage and
current signals in the system are shown in
Table 54:
