7. The Purge alarm will remain active for a default time of 15 minutes at
startup or after the purge is restored.

for after-the-fact troubleshooting of intermittent problems or user
acknowledgment of an alarm.

The analyzer requires a two-point linear calibration. During the calibration
procedure the average of the raw detector signals corresponding to two known
sulfur concentrations are latched by the unit and retained in non-volatile
memory.
During normal operation, the average detector reading is interpolated on the
line to derive the sulfur concentration reported.
