8. Put on the protective gloves and open the printer cover.
Removing the Defective Head
9. On the front of the print block, loosen the screws that secure the cover
10. Lift up the cover.

The printer heats and empties the print block, and prepares the printer. (This
should take up to 15 minutes.)
The following screen appears when the printer is ready for you to replace
print heads.
