2. Cut the antenna at the marking.
3. Remove any burrs.
4. Measure the Antenna Extension Length (L).
5. Update the transmitter configuration to the new Antenna Extension Length (L).
3.4.3 Replace the transmitter head nut (option code A1 only)
When mounting on a legacy Rosemount 5402 antenna, the transmitter head nut must be
changed from size M50 to M52.
Prerequisites
Applies only to transmitters ordered with the option code A1.
Procedure
1. Remove the stop ring using a flat head screwdriver.

• Rosemount Radar Master Plus:
— Under Configure, select Level Setup → Antenna.
• AMS Device Manager and handheld communicator:
— Select Configure → Manual Setup → Level Setup → Antenna.
Tip
Wear gloves to increase grip when using the tool!
