Suppress false echoes using AMS Device Manager
Procedure
1. Select Service Tools → Echo Tuning → Suppress. Suppressed echoes are shown in

Perform an analog loop test
Perform an analog loop test using Rosemount Radar Master
Plus
During a loop test, the transmitter outputs a fixed value (4 mA, 20 mA, or user-selected
value). The loop test command verifies the output of the transmitter, the integrity of the
loop, and the operations of any recorders or similar devices installed in the loop. A loop
test can also be used to determine the need for an analog output calibration.
Prerequisites
If the transmitter is equipped with a TEST terminal, current can be measured directly at the
terminal block without disconnecting any signal wires.
Procedure
1. Under Service Tools, select Simulate.
2. Select Loop Test.
3. Select 4 mA, 20 mA, or Other.
4. If Other is selected, enter the desired value.
5. Select Start.
6. Measure the loop current.
7. Select Stop to end loop test.
