10.1.2.1

Network settings

The supported SIMATIC IPCs have two Ethernet interfaces, which are set by the PCU Base for
connection to the SINUMERIK system.

Note
The SINUMERIK MCU 1720 CNC and SIMATIC IPC427E and IPC477E industrial PCs are
equipped with 3 Ethernet interfaces. Interface X3 is optional, and is not supported by the
PCU Base for IPC software.
