6.2 Commissioning drives with "Startdrive"
To configure the sync domain, proceed as follows:
1. Select the PROFINET IO system in the network view.
2. In the Inspector window, click the "General" tab and select "Domain management > Sync
domain > Sync domain_1" and make the necessary parameter settings.
You can set a new name at "Sync domain". It is converted automatically to a conformant
name that is displayed at "Converted name".
3. Under "IO-Devices" assign synchronization roles to the devices: role "Sync master" to the
PLC of the MCU and the role "Sync slave" to the drive unit.
4. Select the "send clock" for the sync domain.
Note
You can set the send clock only when you have configured the synchronization role and the
RT class at "IO devices".
