6.2 Commissioning drives with "Startdrive"
Note
Extension not possible
The following telegram types cannot be extended:
● Free telegrams 999
However, the length of these telegrams can be changed.
● Safety Integrated telegrams:
– PROFIsafe telegrams 30, 31
– Siemens- telegrams 901, 902, 903
● Currently on S210 drives,
a selected telegram cannot be extended, which is why the field "Extension" is grayed out.
Adding telegrams
You can add the following telegrams once as long as they are not yet included in the telegram
list of the drive object:
● Safety Integrated telegram
● Supplementary telegram
● Torque telegram
● Actual value
● Setpoint
To add a telegram, proceed as follows:
1. In the Inspector window, select "Properties > PROFINET interface > Telegram
configuration".
Telegrams that you have created are displayed for each existing drive object.
2. Click the "Add telegram" entry (at the required drive object).
A drop-down list opens. All telegram types that have not been assigned yet can be used.
3. Select the required telegram type.
The entries for the telegram are created.
4. If required, change the telegram type now, e.g. from telegram 30 to telegram 900. An actual
value slot or a setpoint slot are created for the additional data with a "Free telegram".
Result
The telegram has been extended by the entered number of words or a new telegram has been
added.
