11.3 External Interrupt Circuit 2 Pins

This section describes the pins related to external interrupt circuit 2 and provides its
pin block diagram.
External Interrupt Circuit 2 Pins
External interrupt circuit 2 uses eight external interrupt pins.
P00/INT20 to P07/INT27
The P00/INT20 to P07/INT27 pins can function either as external interrupt input pins or as
general-purpose I/O port pins.
The P00/INT20 to P07/IINT27pins serve as external interrupt input pins (INT20 to INT27) when
the pins are set as input port pins by the port direction register (DDR0) and are enabled for
external interrupt input by the external interrupt 2 control register (EIE2). The pin states, if set
as input port ,can be read from the port data register (PDR0) at any time.
Table 11.3-1 lists the pins related to external interrupt circuit 2.
