Typical dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) applications might include:
• 3 ONS 15454 shelves
• 1 Dispersion Compensating Unit (DCU)
• 7 patch panels (or fiber-storage trays), in either 1rack unit (RU) or 2 RU sizes
Or, alternatively:
• 3 ONS 15454 shelves
• 2 DCUs
• 6 standard patch-panel trays (or fiber-storage trays), or 3 deep patch-panel trays, in either 1 RU or 2 RU
