External Overview
On unpacking the unit, screw the external antenna on to the connector on the top of the
unit. If the device is going to be used in harsh conditions, a small roll of self-
amalgamating tape is included to provide additional protection from the environment.
Install mounting bracket, if required.
Externally, the unit includes the following features:
•
Antenna, as described below
•
Window for viewing the LCD backlit display
•
Push button on the right side for the LCD display
•
Six glands for connecting sensors, tacho and external power (if not battery
powered)
•
Mounting holes

In environments below -30 °C (-22 °F) the LCD will not turn on.
