(2) PathManager setup and status confirmation
If you have not installed PathManager, this task is unnecessary.
After confirming that an FC cable is connected between the server and RAID Storage, restart the
server and perform the checks below from the command prompt.
Refer to the "PathManager User's Manual (Linux)" or the "PathManager for Linux Installation
Guide" for details.

Confirmation of kernel version
Confirm that PathManager supported by the kernel being used is installed.
Confirm that kernel version (A) displayed by "uname -r" and kernel version (B) displayed
by "rpm -qi" are the same.
# uname -r
2.4.X-XX
# rpm -qa | grep sps
sps-xxx-yyyy
# rpm -qi sps-xxx-yyyy

Description :
This package contains a driver, daemon and some utilities. The
driver (dd_mod,dd) provides the redundant SCSI-path for
RAID Storage Disk Array System.
The daemon (dd_daemon) supervises the driver.
And, some utilities work for the maintenance.
It runs on 2.4.X.XX kernel.
