Initialization

When installing a new system or disk array unit, set it up by following the procedure below.
If you cancel this before finishing, or to change settings once initialization has been done, refer to
11.2 "Setup Modification".

Perform preliminary checks before starting the initialization wizard.
Refer to (1) "Start screen" for details.
Specify the disk array to set up.
Refer to (2) "Disk array specification" for details.
Confirm the disk array connections.
Refer to (3) "Disk array connection confirmation" for details.
Select the setting method.
Refer to (4) "Setting method specification" for details.
Specify the host information collection method.
Refer to (5) "Host information collection method selection" for details.
Set disk array network information.
Refer to (6) "Network setup" for details.
Set the disk array's host connection port.
Refer to (7) "Host connection port setup" for details.
Unlock the licenses of purchased products.
Refer to (8) "License unlocking" for details.
Specify whether to do logical disk binding in the Initialization Wizard.
Refer to (9) "Logical disk binding specification" for details.
Set the host to assign to the logical disk binding.
Refer to (10) "Logical disk binding" for details.
Confirm that settings were made successfully.
Refer to (12) "Setup completion" for details.
If setup failed, check the state of the disk array unit. Refer to (13) "If
setup fails" for details.
