Description
Use the reset atm interface command to clear statistics about PVCs on ATM interfaces.
This command does not clear the statistics about ATM interfaces. To clear the statistics about an ATM
interface, use the reset counters interface command. For more information about the reset counters
interface command, see Interface Command Reference.
If you execute this command with an ATM main interface specified, this command clears the statistics on
the PVCs created on the ATM interface and its ATM subinterfaces. If you execute this command with an
ATM subinterface specified, this command clears the statistics about the PVCs created on the ATM
subinterface.
If you execute this command with no ATM interface specified, the statistics about the PVCs created on all
the ATM interfaces are cleared.
Examples
# Clear the statistics about all the PVCs created on ATM subinterface ATM 3/1/1.1.
<Sysname> reset atm interface Atm 3/1/1.1

Parameters

Description
Use the scramble command to enable payload scrambling on the ATM interface. This, however, does not
affect cell headers.
Use the undo scramble command to disable payload scrambling.
By default, payload scrambling is enabled on an ATM interface.
You can enable payload scrambling to prevent successive 0s or 1s in the payload.
With payload scrambling enabled, the interface scrambles data before sending it and descrambles
received data. With payload scrambling disabled, the interface neither scrambles sent data nor
descrambles received data.
NOTE:
For normal communication, make sure that the same payload scrambling setting is configured on the
communicating ATM interfaces.
Examples
# Enable payload scrambling on ATM interface 3/1/1.
