p2mp: Sets the connection type of the subinterface to point-to-multipoint (P2MP).
p2p: Sets the connection type of the subinterface to point-to-point (P2P).
Description
Use the interface atm command to create an ATM subinterface or enter an ATM subinterface view.
Use the undo interface atm command to delete an ATM subinterface.
Be default, the connection type of an ATM subinterface is P2MP.
NOTE:
On a P2MP ATM subinterface, you can create multiple PVCs. On a P2P ATM subinterface, you can create
only one PVC.
Examples
# Enter the view of interface ATM 3/1/1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface Atm 3/1/1
[Sysname-Atm3/1/1]
# Create and enter the view of subinterface ATM 3/1/1.1, and set its connection type to P2P.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface Atm 3/1/1.1 p2p
[Sysname-Atm3/1/1.1]

loopback

Syntax
loopback { cell | local | remote }
undo loopback

Parameters
cell: Enables internal cell loopback testing.
local: Enables internal loopback testing.
remote: Enables external loopback testing.
Description
Use the loopback command to enable a specific type of loopback testing on an ATM interface.
Use the undo loopback command to disable the loopback testing that is being performed.
By default, loopback testing is disabled.
Internal loopback or external loopback is designed only for test purposes. Do not enable loopback
testing on an interface operating normally.
