Operation
Explanation of the Keys to be used in case of a Fault:
Film Stop and ON Key, Screen Key Stop
The film stop key (3) is used to stop the film
advance during the scanning. All motors of the
film drive are cut dead immediately. The Reset
Popup is shown on the screen with the button
Yes.
Note:
Be sure to wait with the confirmation until the
paper transport in the Printer is empty:
− Printer does not work (no noise)
− As an alternative, touch
position of the prints by means of the Info
function
Trigger a Reset by Yes only when all prints are
in the Paper Processor. Otherwise there is the
risk of a paper jam.
Stop key on the screen
If the machine does not respond any more to
operator entries, this key may be used to trigger
a Software Reset:
− The film and the paper are moved out
The order in progress is stopped.
− The Reset Popup is displayed:
Buttons Yes and No
− Be sure to wait with the confirmation until
the paper transport in the Printer is empty.
Trigger a Reset by Yes only when all prints
are in the Paper Processor. Otherwise there
is the risk of a paper jam.
− The main assembly groups are initialised.
− Information concerning previous orders is
deleted, e.g. Reorder lists
Advantages comparative to a Reset by means of
the ON key:
The laser need not be started; no new Piko
required.
Do not pull out the film mask during a Reset.
