Operation
General Information
Changes in the production balance should only be
made if after a longer observation period and
sufficient production experience it is clear that the
complete production must be corrected in one
direction.
Changes in the parameters shifts the printed
results into one direction. But the result in the
opposite direction is also influenced. For this
reason, parameters should only be modified by
experienced operators.
The settings only influence the color negative
–
processing. File print and Network print are not
influenced. (Also see Production balance for
File print).
Modifications are only effective after a new
–
start.
These settings are not considered in the back
–
print as the productions balance defines the
basic balance (0-value).
Correction values entered later (e.g. via
correction configurations or for image
improvement) are added to this 0-value (up to
±9 maximum) and can be included in the back
print. For color and density corrections, the
weighing depends on the entered correction
impact (see Impact).
Recommendations:
Area contrast and Detail contrast, Saturation
and Sharpness should always be left on 0 in the
production balance; the parameters of the color
and selector logic should be on 1.0.
Define necessary corrections only via the
correction configurations as this is clearer, and the
set values can be selected for the back print.
