Operation

Cleaning the dryer rack

Screwdriver or coin
Lint-free cloth and warm water
− Fold the Sorter to the side
− Remove the dryer cover. Use a coin to turn
the lock by 90º.
− Loosen the locking screw (knurled screw) of the
dryer rack. Pull out the rack on the telescopic
rails.
− Remove only the feed roller set after
unscrewing the knurled screw and put it in
water over the weekend.
Caution
In case the rollers are not mounted prior to the
automatic start after the weekend: Be sure to
deactivate the automatic MBL in order to
prevent a paper jam.
On Monday before starting work:
Wipe off all deposits on the feed rollers and the
feed plate with a damp cloth.
− Clean the guide roller behind the feed rollers
with a damp cloth.
− Check all foam plastic rollers for damage and
replace them if necessary.
− Clean the hinged guide grids (see Figure) with
a damp cloth to remove all chemical deposits
(crystalline SB deposits).
− Carefully mount / engage the guide grids.
− Finally mount the bracket with the feed roller
set on the rack.
− Check the smooth movement of the rack by
turning the handle.
− Push the dryer rack in the dryer duct and
fasten it with the knurled screw.
− Put back the covers.
Turn the locks through 90°, push them in up
to the locking point.
