Cleaning the processing racks
Ensure optimum processing quality.
Use a ladder to remove the racks
− Open the Paper Processor cover and fold up
the rack covers
− Fit the plastic cover at the front (1) to prevent
splashes of the chemistry
− Remove the crossovers and the feed guide of
the CD rack
− Fit the plastic cover (2) between the CD and
the BX to prevent contamination of the CD by
BX
− Open the latches at the back of each rack, pull
the rack up and hang it on the side wall to let
the liquid drip off. For this purpose, the side
parts of the racks are fitted with hinged holding
plates (see white arrow).
− Remove the drip-dry rack and rinse it in a lab
basin with warm water
− Clean the rollers and gears with a brush and
warm water; remove all crystal deposits that
may stick to the lateral drive gears
− The guide elements can be taken out so that it
is easier to clean the inside rollers; for this,
push in the latches
− Before putting the racks back in, check the
drains at the back of the tanks and remove any
crystal deposits that may be there
− Reinstall the cleaned racks and crossovers in
the machine in the right order (mind the
colour markings). Reinstall the crossovers so
that they lock into the locking pins.
