Performing a process control for the Paper Processor

− The nominal processing temperatures of the
solutions must be reached.
− There is no order in process.
− Use control strips for the digital paper (5x5):
Order number (ABC Code) 5HWGX
− Insert the control strip in the control strip box in a
darkroom.
− Make sure that the smooth surface of the control
strip (emulsion side) faces downwards. The
emulsion side (photographic layer) faces the user
when the notch is on the top right hand side or
bottom left hand side.
When inserting the control strip the notch must
point to the handle of the control strip box and be
pushed in last (trailing end) to avoid fogging of
the exposed measuring fields.
If the control strip was accidentally inserted
upside down (i.e. emulsion on top) the processed
control strip usually shows typical dirt marks.
− Call up:
Test
Control strip
Chemical control strip
Then the program requests the input of the
control strip.
− Place the control strip box in the holder provided
for this in the lower area of the lane distributor.
− Close the Printer door and touch Continue (or
terminate the action with Cancel):
The control strip is transported into the Paper
Processor.
− Evaluate the control strip according to the
description or send it in.
