Reloading SCSTs
The procedure for reloading the SCSTs is the same as for standard secondary tubes, but be
careful.
Note
The tube stack pack for SCSTs is smaller than the stack pack for standard secondary
tubes. Hence the tubes can turn in the metal tube container and jam the system.

When an instrument has been refit, it can no longer handle standard secondary tubes.

SCSTs cannot be recapped with Parafilm by the AutoMate 2500 Recapper.
•
Use thermo transfer labels to label the SCSTs.
