The vacuum sensor is mounted under the left hood hinge in the
engine compartment and vacuum is supplied by a hose teed
off of the check valve in the brake booster.
Note: The sensor will activate the brake light on the warning
light panel in 10 seconds or less when the vacuum drops to 8.5
in Hg. or less In the brake system.

Remove the vacuum and the power steering pump assembly.
Clean the gasket from the engine gear cover.
Disassembly
Make a pin as illustrated from 8mm or .312 inch hardened drill
rod or a 10.9 or SAE Grade 8 capscrew.
Insert the pin into the pump shaft and screw a M14-2mm
threaded capscrew in against the pin.
