Preferred Procedure
Smoothly blend a 4.00 ± 0.20mm [.1575 ± .0008 inch] radius to
the reground diameters and side faces.
Surface finish:
A =
0.8 micrometer [32 microinch] for a minimum of 45 degrees
into the fillet beyond the journal surface
B =
1.6 micrometers [64 microinch] for the remainder of the fillet
C =
Journal surface 0.4 micrometer [16 microinch]
D =
Original radius
E =
New undercut radius
