Optional Procedure
Smoothly blend a 1.25 ± .020mm [.0482 ± .0008 Inch] radius to
the reground journal.
Surface finish
A • 0.4 micrometer [16 microinch] journal surface
B = 0.8 micrometer [32 microinch] for a minimum of 45 degrees
into the fillet beyond the journal surface
C = 1.6 micrometer [64 microinch] for the remainder of the fillet
D = Original radius
E « New undercut radius
