2.2 Shipping Bolts and Brackets

Shipping Bolts and Brackets
The manipulator is provided with shipping bolts and brackets at position A
to minimize the external force during transport, and with the hexagon
socket head cap screw at position B to prevent the U-arm from falling.
(Fig. 2-1 "Transport Using a Crane").

• The A-shipping brackets are painted in yellow.
• The B-shipping bolt: hexagon socket head cap screw is taped in
yellow.
Position
A Hexagon socket head cap screw M20 X 70 mm
B Hexagon socket head cap screw M16 X 20 mm
Before turning ON the power, check to be sure that the
shipping bolts and brackets are removed. The shipping
NOTE
bolts and brackets then must be stored for future use, in the
event that the manipulator must be moved again.
