Two differential zones are available in the IED and the connecting of the two zones is
simply controlled via zone interconnection logic, as described in section
interconnection (Load
transfer)". In practice, the closed position of the sectionalizer shall
start the zone interconnection logic inside the IED. All other thinks (that is, tripping) will
automatically be arranged.

Single busbar arrangements with bus-section breaker

This arrangement is very similar to the single busbar arrangement. The bus-section
breaker allows the operator to split the station into two separate buses under full load. The
requirement for busbar protection scheme is that the scheme must have two independent
