When you connect FlexWave Focus or a BTS to the Fusion, the Fusion Main Hub
outputs the alarms (alarm source) and FlexWave Focus or the BTS receives the
alarms (alarm sense). This is described in Section 7.7.1 on page 7-56.

System Connectivity

The double star architecture of the Fusion system, illustrated in Figure 2-5, provides
excellent system scalability and reliability. The system requires only one pair of
fibers for eight antenna points. This makes any system expansion, such as adding an
extra antenna for additional coverage, potentially as easy as pulling an extra CATV
cable.
