SoundAdvisor Model 831C
Event History
T
he following module provides the procedures for performing a
measurement using the Event History option on the SoundAdvisor.
Events are initiated and stored when the measured sound level exceeds
the trigger levels SPL1 or Peak 1 for the specified minimum duration.
SPL1 and Peak 1 are specified on the Triggers tab and the minimum
duration is specified on the Event History tab.
To ensure that the Event History option is successfully enabled and
visible, see "Enabling/Disabling Optional Firmware" on page 14-4.
While measurement parameters can be indicated directly in the Active
setup, it is good practice to first create a user-defined setup file for any
specific measurement you perform. Once created, you can make that
setup active. The following section will discuss how to do this.
