he Communication information, which comprises of network
password, IP address, and MAC address, can be found in two ways: the
ToolsCommunication or System PropertiesNetwork.
831-INT-ET
The 831-INT-ET IP and MAC addresses can be found here.
Watchdog
The Communications Watchdog reboots the SoundAdvisor system in
the event of a communication failure with either the 831-INT-ET or the
analog modem. It is automatically enabled when connected to a 831-
INT-ET, though you can disable it on the Network page. A countdown of
5 minutes will appear on the Live Preamp display until the 831-INT-ET is
rebooted.
