13.2 Connecting to an Ethernet Port

connections consume a high
amount of power. It is
recommended to use a USB or
external power source while
connected via Ethernet.

Connect USB of the Ethernet
dongle into auxiliary port
located on the bottom of the
SoundAdvisor.
Connect Ethernet
cable into DVX012
dongle.
SoundAdvisor Model 831C
To connect the SoundAdvisor to an Ethernet port, follow these steps:
Step 1 Verify you have the following equipment:
SoundAdvisor Model 831C
DVX012 USB/Ethernet dongle
Ethernet cable
A functional Ethernet network port
Step 2 Connect the assembly as shown in Figure 13-2
SoundAdvisor Connected to Ethernet.
Connecting to an Ethernet Port
Connect to Ethernet port
in wall jack or supported
device.
