The X1 terminal is connected to the intrinsically safe Raptor Tankbus.
A jumper on the X2 terminal enables the built-in termination. The termination
should be used if the Rosemount 5900S gauge is installed at the end of a
Tankbus network. See "The Raptor Tankbus" on page 3-43 for more
information on how to terminate the Raptor Tankbus.
The X3 terminal is used for connecting the cable shield in order to enable a
continuous shield throughout the Tankbus network.
The X4 terminal can be used for "daisy-chain" connection to other Raptor
devices such as the Rosemount 2240S Multi-input Temperature Transmitter,
or the Rosemount 2230 Graphical Field Display, see also Figure 3-28 on
page 3-52.

Intrinsically safe Tankbus input, power and communication (spur

OUNDATION
The integrated line terminator is connected over the Tankbus
when a jumper is placed in the terminal block
Cable shield daisy-chain connector (not grounded)

connection to other devices
