Program simulation

The setup program can simulate a program that was created with the program editor. During
this process, the setpoint value progression and the state of the activated operating contacts
are displayed.
This simple program is used for examples 1 and 2 shown below:
Program selection
Before the program simulation starts, select the program, the program channel, and the pro-
gram generator assigned to the program (only program generators that have been assigned
are available here). The program generator configuration determines settings such as whether
the setpoint value changes in steps or as a ramp.
Select the "OK" button to start the simulation and display the result as a diagram.
The examples in the following sections show the different setpoint value progressions depend-
ing on the setpoint input (setpoint step or setpoint ramp).
