For this example, the following conditions apply:
• Setpoint 1 and setpoint 3 must be enabled in the process step (option "Program generator
with process steps" required) and their value must not be equal to "-----".
• Setpoint 1 must not be configured as end value for the ramp of another setpoint. Other set-
tings in the configuration of setpoint 1 (setpoint step or setpoint ramp) do not matter.
• If setpoint 2 is also configured as end value for the ramp of setpoint 1, then setpoint 2 (set-
point with lower number) is used instead of setpoint 3. But setpoint 2 must be enabled in
the process step. Otherwise, setpoint 1 does not work as setpoint ramp with end value; in-
stead it would then work in accordance with its own configuration (setpoint step or setpoint
ramp). Setpoint 3 does not matter in this case, even if it is enabled in the process step.
