For this example, the following conditions apply:
Setpoint 1 and setpoint 3 must be enabled in the process step (option "Program generator
with process steps" required) and their value must not be equal to "-----".
Setpoint 1 must not be configured as end value for the ramp of another setpoint. Other set-
tings in the configuration of setpoint 1 (setpoint step or setpoint ramp) do not matter.
If setpoint 2 is also configured as end value for the ramp of setpoint 1, then setpoint 2 (set-
point with lower number) is used instead of setpoint 3. But setpoint 2 must be enabled in
the process step. Otherwise, setpoint 1 does not work as setpoint ramp with end value; in-
stead it would then work in accordance with its own configuration (setpoint step or setpoint
ramp). Setpoint 3 does not matter in this case, even if it is enabled in the process step.

No distinction is made here between the individual program channels as the operating contacts
of the program channels are linked with OR.
