Process steps
By clicking the "Process steps" button the window for configuring the process steps is opened
(example with system version 02):
The individual sub-items and parameters are described in this section:
 Chapter 8.8 "Process steps (as of system version 02)", page 126
Process step
A process step must be provided for the selected program generator (allocation in process step
configuration) to be available in the program schema.
If several program generators are selected in the program schema then only those process
steps are available which are assigned to all selected program generators.
Setpoint 1(1) to Setpoint 2(10)
In program generator configuration the setpoints are distributed on three program channels.
This corresponds to the use in the simple program editor (with active option "Program genera-
tor"). A distinction between channels does not exist in the program editor for process engineer-
ing (with active option "Program generator with process steps"). In spite of this, the setpoint
designation is based on the channel structure:
Setpoint 1(1) = Setpoint 1 of program channel 1 (Setpoint 1)
...
Setpoint 4(4) = Setpoint 4 of program channel 1 (Setpoint 4)
Setpoint 1(5) = Setpoint 1 of program channel 2 (Setpoint 5)
...
Setpoint 4(8) = Setpoint 4 of program channel 2 (Setpoint 8)
Setpoint 1(9) = Setpoint 1 of program channel 3 (Setpoint 9)
Setpoint 2(10) = Setpoint 2 of program channel 3 (Setpoint 10)
The texts of the program generator with the lowest number (1 to 9) are used as designation for
the setpoints.
If the setpoint designation is shown without brackets, this means that this setpoint is used as
criterion for section changeover (core setpoint value). With system version 02, this is setpoint
2, as of system version 03, the setpoint is selectable (setpoint 2 is set as default).
