Process steps (as of system version 02)

In a process step, requirements for creating the program with the process engineering program
editor are defined (extra code 228 required). There a certain process step is assigned to each
program section. All process steps which have been assigned to the allocated program gener-
ator are available for this purpose. As a result, the requirements defined in the process step
apply to the program section in question. This means that only the admissible setpoint values
are used and that the section time lies within the predefined limits.
Furthermore, in a process step 16 process contacts are available to control PLC functions (not
to be confused with the operating contacts of the program generators). As of system version
03, the function of the process contacts can be configured.
