Configuring the management port interface
The management port provides switch connectivity and management. As with other ports, you
can configure the management port for routing IPv6 and you can configure a number of IPv6
addresses on an interface. The switch does not advertise the management port address to the
other ports.
Procedure steps
1. In the Device Physical View tab, select the management port.
2. In the navigation tree, open the following folders: Configuration, Edit.
3. Double-click Mgmt Port.
4. Click the Mgmt Port-IPv6 Interface tab.
5. Click Insert.
6. Edit the fields as required.
7. Click Insert.
