Prerequisites
• You must configure static routes, RIP, or OSPF on both the source (8600 1) and remote
(8600 2) IPv4 interfaces to communicate on an IPv4 network.
• Configure IPv4 address on the VLANs. Test the source and destination addresses by
using the ping command.
